Roy, I am a US expat living in Ecuador and teaching at the university here. I am coming to La Ceiba in Dec to look for property. In the meantime, could you do me a huge favor? When I was in La Ceiba in 2001 I met an expat named Alan (from Kansas). His Honduran wife's name was Margaurita. They owned and operated a chicken restaurant on the main drag, an outdoor patio rest where lots of gringos hung out. Could you check to see if he is still there and if so get his email addr for me?
