Current Experience

Currently working as Veterinary Doctor with Animal Husbandry Department, Govt. of Kerala. Duties include : Management of Veterinary Hospital, Farm Consultant, Diagnosis and Treatment of various diseases of live stock, Poultry and pet animals with Laboratory aids, Timely Vaccination of animals against various infectious diseases, Educating farmers regarding Animal Management and economic milk production, conducting seminars on various Public health topics related to Zoonotic diseases, Technical control of animal breeding activities including artificial insemination in cattle and buffaloes, diagnosis and treatment of Gynecological problems in farm animals, Ante mortem and Postmortem examination of animals brought to slaughter house under Trivandrum Municipal Corporation, Meat inspection, Monitoring committee member of Animal husbandry projects under taken by the Trivandrum Municipal Corporation, Member in the Expert Committee for animal husbandry projects in Trivandrum District.

Previous Experience

• Worked with Oaklands Park, Gloustershire in United Kingdom for a period of 6 weeks, During October - November 2003. Duties included working with Farm Team in the farm comprising of dairy cattle, poultry and sheep, which are being managed under organic conditions.

• worked with Severnside Veterinary Center, in Gloustershire United Kingdom, for a period of 3 weeks during November 2003. Duties included: Routine consultation, Small Animal Surgery, Equine Consultation, Farm visits, Ultrasound pregnancy scanning.

• Worked with Saud Bahwan Group in Oman from July 2002 - July 2003, As Veterinary Consultant for establishment of a mixed farm comprising Dairy Cattle, Goats, sheep and poultry.

• Worked as Veterinary Officer with Trivandrum Regional Co-operative Milk Producers Union. From 24.01.1991 to 22.10.1991.

Duties include: Treating the sick animals of Milk producers through regular mobile veterinary routes and emergency veterinary routes, Educating milk producers regarding calf rearing, effective and hygienic management, economic breeding regimen, clean milk production etc.

• 10 days Training for Veterinary Surgeons on Induction and Orientation conducted by Institute of Management in Government, Trivandrum. (1993)

• 3 days Training on Animal Production Economics, Gynecology & Clinical Medicine conducted by farming systems Research Station, Kottarakkara, Kerala Agricultural University. Trivandrum. (1994)

• 5 days Training on Project identification formulation, Appraisal Implementation, Evaluation using PERT / CPM, conducted by Institute of Management in Government, Trivandrum. (1998)

• 5 days Training on National Level programme on Computer Aided Project Management conducted by Institute of Management in Government, Trivandrum. (1999)
