Hoyohoy Resort, Bantayan Island

Hoyohoy is the best resort to stay at if you go to Bantayan Island which is part of Cebu (Cebu is composed of many islands and one of the biggest is Bantayan). There are only 6 cottages and they are fashioned like the houses on stilts in Thailand. Each cottage has a living area downstairs and all are differently designed. Furnishings are either specially made by master craftsmen in the island or brought over from different provinces in the Philippines. Upstairs you'll find the bedroom with a wrap around veranda. The bedrooms are huge and contains one king size bed and a single bed. Bathrooms are huge with a bathtub. You'll find an accordion door that will lead you to an outdoor shower area which is covered with bamboo poles that serves as the wall and different varieties of orchids are hanged on the bamboo wall. A perfect, private sanctuary to go to when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life!

hi..my family & i are planing to go to bantayan island this june.we are 1st timers there..we have been to boracay couple of time & we love the place..We went to malapascua last year since they say its "little boracay"...my god..its very far from boracay..malapascua isnt ready to be a world class beach...

anyway now we are planning to go there, vacation & dive..we would appreciate so more pictures of the resorts or the amenities & rates.thanks..
