36" x 36" Mixed Media (nautical charts and acrylic) on Canvas

This painting represents the view from The Loft in Stonington where I first visited Deer Isle with my boyfriend. I fell in love with both the island and him on that trip. The background "frame" reminds me of a snuggly plaid blanket which you'd need on a typical Maine coast foggy day.
