The homeowner was an artist and needed that extra space outside of the house. We demolished the old garage and built this custom garage to architectural plans. Ten foot ceilings, plenty of windows, insulation, drywall, fire sprinkler system, old world concrete floors and old fastion barn doors. These doors are 90" x 48" each and are mounted inside quarter inch angle iron frames that are welded to steel plates that are bolted to the 4x6 king studs. Each door weighs about 125 lbs, and they are bi-fold, opening up to a 16' opening. The hinges will support the weight for years to come. No call backs on this one. Owner was absolutely impressed with the finsihed product.
