Prior to founding Fitzgerald Financial Partners, LLC, Michael spent 6 years with several prestigious wealth management boutique firms and several “Big 4” and national accounting firms through out Texas and Washington, D.C. As the Director of Wealth Management at prestigious Washington, D.C. Registered Investment Advisory Firm where he provided fee-only financial planning and investment management services to over 65 high net worth clients and a $179 Million Dollar Investment Portfolio. He also provided comprehensive financial counseling services to key executives at several Fortune 500 corporations and has helped pre-retirees build retirement income replacement platforms, similar to their own personal pension.

Michael J. Fitzgerald, CPA/PFS, CFP®, MST, (Houston, Texas) has extensive experience presenting seminars to pre-retirees and corporations on subjects including how to obtain early retirement, 401(k) plan asset management, stock option planning, proper retirement distribution planning options and true asset allocation using all 8 asset investment classes.

MST, (Retirement Planning, Houston, Texas) is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), The Houston Financial Planning Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Personal Financial Planning Section of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Houston Reveille Club, where he sits on the board of directors, and is the Secretary for the Finance Committee at JWUMC. He received his BA from Texas A&M University, his MST from Texas A&M University. He served in the United States Army and the Texas State National Guard for 8 years and was Honorably Discharged from both with numerous awards and citations as an Infantry Squad Leader.

Their family spends many weekends hunting, watching football, and enjoying traveling.
