It takes you just four minutes to drive to the village of Tavronitis with a few shops, cafenions and the beach. If you drive three more minutes you'll enjoy a fabulous motorway that leads you to the former Cretan capital city Chania. If you prefer to see such a picturesque place as Afrata you may want to drive there via the village of Kolimbari which is also a municipality centre.
