The Blackberries came about after I had told my

students about painting what they knew, some of the subjects could be right in their own back yards! You don't have to travel the world to find something wonderful. After painting for

quite a few days, I knew something was missing.

I prayed for inspiration and when done, there sat a dragonfly near the middle of the leaves. That was all the painting needed!
