Cultural and Historical Trip (4 days & 3 nights)

Day 01: Leave Dhaka by available domestic flight for Saidpur. On arrival at Saidpur airport, you will be received by our representative, and drive to Birgonj in the Dinajpur district by reserved car/coach to visit the Kantajee's Temple. This famous terracotta temple is a good example of the mixture of Hindu and Mughal architecture. The drive is around 30 km long and it takes approximately one hour. After visiting this temple, we will take you to the nearby tribal village. On this day we shall serve you packed lunch. In the afternoon drive to Rangpur by reserved car/coach and visit the local archeological museum. Stay overnight at the Parjatan Motel in Rangpur.

Day 02: After breakfast, you will drive to Paharpur and visit the famous Buddhist Stupa. Thereafter we shall take you to another archeological site at Mahasthan. After having lunch at Bogra, you will drive to Rajshahi. Stay overnight at the Parjatan Motel in Rajshahi.

Day 03: After an early breakfast, you will drive to Goud, which is about three hours from Rajshahi, to visit the ‘Chota Sona Mosque’ and other historical places in the area. As there is no suitable eating place nearby, we shall provide packed lunch on this day. Drive back to the hotel in Rajshahi in the afternoon for the overnight stay. On the way back, a short country boat trip on the river Padma (Ganges) will be arranged.

Day 04: After an early breakfast, drive to Dhaka via Jamuna Bridge, the longest bridge in Bangladesh. On way stop at Puthia to visit the old Hindu temples. These beautiful terracotta temples are well worth a visit. You will also visit the Bagha Mosque near Natore. Lunch will be arranged at a restaurant in Bogra. Arrive Dhaka in the evening.

Trip to Buddhist & Hindu Archeological Sites(3 days & 2 nights)

Day 01: Leave Dhaka domestic flight for Saidpur. We shall provide you with a packet lunch and after lunch you will drive to Parjatan Motel in Rangpur for the overnight stay. If time permits, we shall offer you a brief sightseeing of Rangpur city and the area.

Day 02: After breakfast drive to Paharpur, to visit the famous Buddhist Stupa. This drive will take around three hours of time. We will stay at this very peaceful place for a few hours. Packet lunch will be served here. After lunch, you will drive to Bogra for the overnight stay. On the way we will stop at Mahasthan, the oldest archeological site in Bangladesh.

Day 03: After breakfast drive to Dhaka, via Jamuna Bridge, the longest bridge in Bangladesh. As you will reach Dhaka around midday, lunch is not included on this day.

Archeological Excursion to Moinamoti (1 day)

Leave Dhaka in the morning by reserved car/coach for Comilla. It takes about two hours to reach Comilla. On the way you will stop at Sonargoan, the old capital of Bengal for a visit. There is an interesting folk museum here, which you can visit. After lunch you will visit Moinamoti, the relics of the old Buddhist civilization. You can visit the impressive excavated archeological sites, as well as archeological museum. Drive back to Dhaka, arriving in the evening.

Overnight Homestay Trip to a Village (2 days & 1 night)

Day 01: Leave Dhaka in the morning by reserved car/coach for the village. During the day you can observe, or if you prefer to get more involved, you can participate in the daily activities of the villagers like agricultural work in the field, fishing, weaving or tending cattle. We shall arrange your accommodation in the house of your home stay family. Obviously, it will be very simple. But we shall however make sure that the basic necessities are provided.

Day 02: Continue your experience with the village according to your interests. The accompanying guide will be there to assist you in all respect. After lunch drive back to Dhaka by reserved car/coach.
