Another Physical Geography field survey took me to Ladakh, the land of passes. Geomophological process at work everywhere in this region. Temperatures below freezing point, 5000m+ altitude, rugged, cold and barren desert. The real greater Himalayas, no words can explain this field trip. Thanks to Jawaharlal Nehru University for this exerience of a lifetime.
